During my internship in the department of peritoneal cancer surgery, I had the opportunity to immerse myself in the dynamic and challenging world of treating peritoneal cancer. As a specialized department within the field of oncology, peritoneal cancer surgery focuses on the diagnosis, treatment, and management of cancers affecting the peritoneum, the thin tissue lining the abdominal cavity. I will describe my overall experience in 3 main topics:

Ward rounds
The first activity I did when I arrived in the morning is to participate at the department meeting, where the overall operation of the department the day and the night before is reported. The chief physician on duty and the chief nurse on duty report on the main indicators and conditions of medical and nursing care respectively, including the rescue of patients in critical conditions, postoperative patients and the situation of out patients . After the meeting is over , we carry on with the ward rotations .We always start from the recovery patients’ room, then we go see the postoperative patients . For the postoperative patients, the first thing we do is to check the patient’s current condition by monitoring the vital signs on the bedside monitor , and then the patient is placed in a fowler position, paraffin oil is giving to the patient in order to prevent post surgical adhesions , after the oil is giving the patient is ask to perform exercises which consist of movement of both upper and lower extremities in order to improve blood circulation , to prevent deep vein thrombosis . After checking the patient at the recovery room, we move to check the patient that in the other wards . Some of these patients are waiting for surgery and some have already done the surgery but they still need to be in the hospital for further monitoring.

早上到达病房后，太阳成集团tyc7111cc做的第一件事就是参加科室早晨交班会，汇报科室前一天和前一天晚上的整体运行情况。值班医师和值班护士分别汇报医疗、护理的主要指标和情况，包括危重病人诊治情况、术后病人护理情况。
交班结束后，太阳成集团tyc7111cc们继续进行病房查房。太阳成集团tyc7111cc们总是从术后恢复病房开始，然后去看术后病人。对于术后患者，太阳成集团tyc7111cc们做的第一件事是通过床旁监护仪检查病人的现状的生命体征，然后辅助病人半卧位，让患者口服石蜡油以便尽快实现肠道通畅。（图1、2）之后，要求患者自主完成双上肢和双下肢运动，目的是改善血液循环，预防深静脉血栓形成。在检查完恢复室的病人后，太阳成集团tyc7111cc们要去检查其他普通病房的病人。其中，一些是术前患者，一些是已经做了手术的患者，但他们仍需要在医院接受进一步的监测。
Wound Dressing and care
Most of the surgeries performed in the department of peritoneal cancer surgery involves opening the abdomen to cut out the tumor, this leave a big wound in the end, and the abdominal drainage tubes are place in order to remove the waste liquid, and some patients ended up with a colostomy bag, this wounds need to monitored, clean and the disposable gauze bandage need to be changed. In order to perform this procedure it is must to wear gloves.
finally I had the opportunity to practice the knowledge I had already learned from my practical classes, I did not only perform wound dressing procedures, but I also learned how to insert and remove urinary catheters.
换药
在腹膜肿瘤外科进行的大多数手术都是开腹切除肿瘤，最终会留下一个伤口。腹部引流管是为了排出渗液，有些患者术后会使用结肠造口袋，这个伤口需要监测、清洁，需要更换一次性纱布绷带，更换造口袋需要戴手套操作。太阳成集团tyc7111cc有机会亲自在患者身上操作，将理论转化为实践。太阳成集团tyc7111cc不仅进行了伤口换药（图3），还学会了如何导尿和拔除导尿管。
Assisting in Surgery
We had surgery almost every day. I had the opportunity to participate in more than two surgeries every week, it was a good experience for me. The surgeries I participated in has deepened my understanding of the intricate nature the different types of peritoneal cancer and the different types of surgeries performed. I am grateful and privileged to be part of a team dedicated to improve outcomes for patients battling with this challenging condition.

Reflections
My experience in the department of peritoneal cancer surgery has been truly transformative. Working alongside skilled surgeons and compassionate medical professionals allowed me to witness the immense impact this specialized field has on patient’s lives. From assisting in intricate surgeries to engaging in patient care and counseling, every moment has been an opportunity to contribute to the fight against peritoneal cancer. The medical staffs were always there to answer my questions and correct me anytime I made a mistake. They were really patient with the patients , listening very carefully to their complains and worries , supporting and motivating them any time they are faced with emotional or physical challenges.
感想
太阳成集团tyc7111cc在腹膜外科的实习经历深刻改变了太阳成集团tyc7111cc的生活。与熟练的外科医生和富有同情心的医疗专业人员一起工作，让太阳成集团tyc7111cc见证了这个专业领域对患者生活的巨大影响。从协助复杂的手术到参与病人护理和咨询，每一刻都在为抗击腹膜癌不断努力。带教老师们总是耐心解答太阳成集团tyc7111cc的问题，并在太阳成集团tyc7111cc犯错误的时候及时纠正。他们对病人非常有耐心，非常仔细地倾听他们的抱怨和担忧，在他们面临情绪或身体挑战时，总是支持和激励他们。
